Coquette

RESTAURANT · CHICAGO, ILLINOIS

A custom-finished audio system designed to disappear into one of Chicago’s most visually distinctive dining rooms.

A Room That Demands Attention to Detail

Located at 165 N. Ogden Ave. in Chicago, Coquette is Bonhomme Hospitality’s modern French restaurant and wine bar, pairing a playful Parisian influence with a highly detailed interior defined by bold color, geometric patterns, handmade tile and sculptural lighting.

With so much of the restaurant experience built around its visual identity, the audio system needed the same level of consideration. Pineapple Audio designed and installed a custom solution that complements the room rather than competing with it, bringing music into the experience while preserving the carefully composed design.

THE DESIGN

Sound Made to Match

At Coquette, standard speaker finishes would have felt out of place in a room where materials, color and detail are so intentional.

Pineapple Audio selected 1 SOUND loudspeakers and developed custom-matched finishes to integrate the system with the surrounding décor. Paired with Powersoft amplification and Xilica DSP, the system delivers clear, engaging sound while allowing the technology to feel like a natural extension of the restaurant’s interior.

Precision in

Every Finish

The completed system ties naturally into Coquette’s design, allowing music to shape the atmosphere without introducing visual elements that feel disconnected from the space.

Custom finishes help the loudspeakers blend with the surrounding décor while the system provides the sound quality and energy needed for a lively modern restaurant.
