A New Take on Private-Room Karaoke
Mic Drop Karaoke brings a performance-first approach to the private-room karaoke experience.
Opened in March 2026, the venue occupies a landmark 1922 building at 8811 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood, a space with its own entertainment history as the former home of Larrabee Sound Studios.
Inside, a main performance room is joined by 13 private karaoke suites, creating an experience that moves between the energy of a live venue and the intimacy of a private room. Pineapple Audio designed the AV system so that both environments share the same show-quality foundation, helping the experience feel cohesive throughout the venue.

Built for Performance
Mic Drop reimagines the private-room karaoke format around a main stage designed for performance, not simply background music.
Each private room shares the same show-quality signal chain as the main stage, creating a consistent karaoke experience whether guests are performing in front of a crowd or inside one of the private suites. In the main room, the line-array system was specifically tuned to maintain vocal clarity over crowd noise.
