Temple Nightclub
NIGHTCLUB · SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA
A high-performance VOID Acoustics system designed to give one of San Francisco’s longtime nightlife destinations a new standard for club sound.
A San Francisco Nightlife Institution
Located at 540 Howard St. in San Francisco’s SoMa district, Temple has been part of the city’s nightlife landscape since 2007, hosting international DJs and high-energy events in a venue built around music, technology and immersive production.
When the club needed to elevate its sound experience, Pineapple Audio was brought in to design and install a new nightclub audio system capable of matching the scale and energy of the room. The goal was not simply more volume, but a system with the clarity, impact and control expected from a serious dance-music venue.
THE DESIGN
A Legendary Room, Upgraded
In a nightclub built around DJs and the dance floor, the sound system has to perform night after night at demanding levels without sacrificing detail.
Pineapple Audio designed and installed a VOID Acoustics system supported by Powersoft amplification and Xilica processing. The system delivers the power needed for a high-energy main room while maintaining the definition and control that allow the music — not the equipment — to remain the focus.

Years after its installation, the system continues to support Temple’s nightlife programming, giving DJs the performance platform they need while delivering an immersive experience for the crowd.
The longevity of the installation speaks to an approach built not only around impact, but around reliability and consistent performance in a demanding nightclub environment.
