A New Place to Gather in Montgomery
Created by the Equal Justice Initiative to complement Montgomery’s Legacy Sites, Elevation Convening Center and Hotel brings hospitality, education and gathering together under one roof. Located at 600 Montgomery St., the property provides a place for visitors to stay, reflect and continue engaging with the history explored throughout the nearby Legacy Museum, National Memorial for Peace and Justice and Freedom Monument Sculpture Park.
Beyond its guest accommodations, Elevation was designed as a destination for convening. Its spaces include a ballroom, classrooms, boardrooms, private dining areas and a Library with a theater, learning exhibits and art. Pineapple Audio designed and installed audio systems to support those environments as well as the property’s food-and-beverage spaces.
THE DESIGN
Sound for Meaningful Spaces
Elevation required audio that could serve a wide range of experiences, from intimate conversation and education to dining, meetings and larger gatherings.
Pineapple Audio integrated Bose loudspeakers, Powersoft amplification and Q-SYS control to create a flexible system capable of supporting the property’s meeting and hospitality environments. The approach allows sound to adapt to the purpose of each space while remaining thoughtfully integrated into a property designed around comfort, reflection and connection.
