La Renommée
RESTAURANT · PARIS, FRANCE
A discreet custom sound system designed to become part of the craftsmanship of an intimate Parisian dining room.
Old Paris, Reimagined
Set at 95 Rue Saint-Honoré in a historic building dating to 1823, La Renommée marks Hogsalt Hospitality’s first restaurant in Europe. The Paris restaurant brings the group’s highly considered approach to hospitality into a setting filled with carved wood, antique artwork, leather banquettes, and the atmosphere of another era.
For a dining room designed around conversation and connection, sound needed to enhance the experience without competing with the space itself. Pineapple Audio designed and installed an audio system that integrates directly into the restaurant’s richly detailed environment, extending Hogsalt’s attention to atmosphere all the way to the music.
THE DESIGN
Sound Hidden in the Details
At La Renommée, the audio system was designed to feel as considered as the room surrounding it.
Custom Pineapple Audio speakers were wood-matched and integrated into the restaurant’s handmade millwork, allowing the system to visually disappear into the architecture. Paired with Powersoft amplification and Xilica processing, the result delivers the performance the space requires while preserving the intimate, carefully crafted character of the dining room.
