Hidden beneath Fifth + Broadway and The Twelve Thirty Club, Pushing Daisies offers a completely different take on Nashville nightlife. The underground margarita and agave bar trades the scale and spectacle above it for low ceilings, intimate seating, rich interiors and a room designed to feel like an escape from Broadway.
For Pineapple Audio, the compact setting presented an opportunity to make sound one of the surprises of the experience. The audio system was designed to give the room genuine musical impact while remaining balanced with cocktails, conversation, DJs and live entertainment.
THE DESIGN
Big Sound, Intimate Room
Low ceilings and a compact footprint did not mean compromising on performance. Pushing Daisies needed an audio system capable of creating energy and atmosphere without overwhelming a room where guests remain close to both the stage and one another.
Pineapple Audio integrated Meyer Sound and 1 SOUND loudspeakers with Powersoft amplification and Xilica processing to deliver full, controlled sound throughout the space. The result gives DJs and performers the impact they need while preserving the intimate character that defines the bar.
