Ramen With a Soundtrack
At Ramen-San in Chicago’s River North, music is part of the personality. Lettuce Entertain You’s neighborhood ramen concept pairs bowls of hot ramen, cold beer and an energetic dining room with a soundtrack rooted in ’90s hip-hop.
Pineapple Audio designed the restaurant sound system at 59 W. Hubbard St. to support that experience. Rather than treating music as passive background sound, the system gives the room enough energy and low-end presence to keep guests engaged while complementing the casual, social atmosphere of the restaurant.

Built for the Beat
Ramen-San called for a system capable of delivering music with real presence while remaining balanced for a busy restaurant environment.
Bag End and 1 SOUND loudspeakers are paired with Powersoft amplification and Xilica processing to create a sound system with the clarity, energy and deep bass needed for the concept’s music-driven identity. The result keeps the soundtrack lively without losing sight of the dining experience happening around it.
